Council Bluffs Community School District returns to the classroom with College & Career Ready Labs.

Council Bluffs Community School District was excited to welcome students back into the classroom today, marking the beginning of a new school year filled with promising opportunities to advance students' learning.

"We have some new College and Career Ready Labs for all, sixth, seventh and eighth grade. The program will benefit everyone in the school."

Amanda Jens Principal of Kirn Middle School

The district said its vision ensures all students graduate, not only with their high school diploma but also with a second credential. This could include college credits, helping to save time and money in higher education, or obtaining an industry-recognized credential, giving students a head start in the workforce.

While the district recognizes students may not choose their career paths in middle school, they can certainly explore various options.
